Family Services and Early Intervention Programs
Our Services focus on families with children 0–16 years and our flexible strategies aim to build on the strengths and competencies that each individual and family have already developed. Services are designed to increase a family’s ability to effectively deal with issues problems as they arise within the ‘bigger picture’ of life to include education, housing, employment, financial, social connections, spirituality, emotional well being and practical support.
Family Services provide counseling within the context of family support work, after hours counseling and parent education programs, community education and development programs, early intervention programs for vulnerable families with children 0–8 years information within safe places. These services vary from centre to centre reflecting the needs of the local communities.
Family Support Services
Our Family Support Services are located in the Blacktown and Baulkham Hills Local Government Areas of Sydney’s Metro West, Sydney South and the Lower Hunter Region of Dungog and West Lakes Macquarie, each service has been developed in collaboration with local communities and Government Services.
